Children's Cataract Surgery |
 |
|
On a visit to Kintamani in December 2003, the mobile eye clinic
team found three girls in one family from Songan, a small
village in the crater of Mt Batur, who had been blind since
they were 7 years old. The girls recently underwent cataract
removal and implant surgery in the Rumah Sakit Indera in Denpasar,
and will now be able to attend school and can look forward
to a more optimistic future. The Foundation is always looking
for funds to support this Children's Cataract Surgery program.
Perhaps you would like to be instrumental in a gift of sight
